The event organised by AAfG for the anniversary of Pavlos Fyssas’ murder by fascists on Sunday 21 September 201 at the Dalston Victoria was a great success and a fitting tribute to Pavlos. Around 100 persons attended and the performances by the SOAS Ceilidh Band, John Blood and the Highlys, Dave Roca, Kourelou and Stereo Mike were much appreciated.
A total of £ 300 was collected by the AAfG and shall be donated to the Farmakonisi survivors and to “Solidarity with West of Athens”. A big thank you to everyone supporting the event, including the members of the bands and those from other organisations who helped with the event promotion and on the day.
